The Kribensis Cichlid (Pelvicachromis pulcher) is a freshwater fish of the cichlid family native to Nigeria and Cameroon. A great addition to a peaceful Cichlid or larger community fish aquarium. They like to have hiding places, like caves, and breed easily when in the right water conditions.
Be aware however that although they are a peaceful fish, they may nip the fins of slow-movers such as Angels. If other cichlids will share the community tank, choose a species that are not bottom or cave-dwelling so they won’t compete for the same territory.
